Go do those. You can do any scenarios you have already unlocked and whose requirements you meet. It doesn't open up any new possibilities (unlike going to work for him). But there are still related scenarios that you opened up shortly before this, and probably didn't do. Not knowing what was happening, I then attempted to just skip the attack, but then the game "locked" me, it wouldn't end my turn at all and I had to force close the game.

Unable to complete the scenario because the Boss' health does not match the alter it's connected to. The first attack after opening the door with the Boss and alter results in damage to the alter but not to the Boss. In the info text for the altar it is written that it is immune vs push. However, when during the attack a push modifier is drawn, the altar can be pushed. All other effect modifiers are disabled (wound, poison, etc.). Only the push modifier is not disabled.
