It dries quickly and the option to add more power reduces the need to keep drying heavy loads over and over. Very glad we made the move to Maytag. LOC on your dryer means that the control lock is engaged. You should just need to press and hold the "Steam" button for 5 seconds to remove the control lock. If that doesn't work, unplug the dryer for 5 minutes and plug it back in. The electronics get glitchy sometimes and won't reset.
