If it bogs in neutral from idle when you do the "whack the throttle" test, the rod needs to be richened. A 1/4 turn adjustment may be all it takes to go from bog to no bog. They're carburetors without jets. It looks like you adjust a needle for the each circuit from the outside instead of tearing in to the carb every time to make adjustments. I've seen them on some pretty high end custom bikes. Its $800 for a DRZ kit and comes with a single cable throttle and G2 aluminum throttle tube.
