I have a Rough Rider Bird's Head with a 3" barrel. I've used .22LR and magnums through it no problem. The Single Six is better looking, feels good in the hand, is smooth and overall is built very well. Round exploded in new heritage rough rider. I got a heritage rough rider today, brand new. I put maybe 20 rounds through, then it misfired and exploded a round. Smoke came out of the handle and shells were difficult to extract. Shooting day over. I think I had a squib in the barrel and the next round shot into it.
