Nov 1, 2023 · I just recently started having issues with Xfinity stream and gettings error messages such as TVAPP-00170 and TVAPP-00500. It worked yesterday but now won't work at all. tvapp-00502 I watch TV on my home network via the Xfinity stream app, usually on a Roku TV. For the past couple hours, I've been unable to access my guide on the Roku or any other outlet, including in web browsers.

I have the same issue. After many fruitless discussions with Xfinity "support" someone finally said I needed a new modem. Got one and still the connection problem persists, which so far is remedied (temporarily) only by restarting the system every time we want to use it. We're about ready to cancel Comcast and try something else.
