Make sure that the power cord is securely plugged into the wall outlet and that the power switch is turned on. Additionally, check that the power cable is connected to the litter robot and that the battery is charged. Adjust the Height of the Litter Tray. Empty the Litter-Robot waste drawer. Ensure the waste drawer liner is properly installed and tucked into all 4 tabs. Perform a hard reset after emptying the waste drawer: Unplug Litter-Robot for 10 seconds and replug. Thoroughly clean the Drawer Full Indicator (DFI) with a dry cloth or cotton swab. Check for signs of corrosion.
Hey, all. About 9 months after the purchase of my litter robot 3 connect, I got the rapid yellow flash, telling me I had a fault in my pinch detector. After cleaning the metal bits failed, I ended up cutting the metal ends off and using a butt splice with an environmental seal to connect the 2 wires and bypass the pinch detector all together.To add, the sensor is two $.01 pieces of plated metal that get litter basically dumped on them with every cycle. So they corrode / get dirty and give tons of false pinch alerts. Sometimes the pinch alert requires a full unplug to reset. I kept finding my LR stuck upside down, leading the cats to find other places to do their messes.
