The county Pit Bull ban, however, is no longer a thing as of this writing. Early this year, Florida passed a law that removed the Miami-Dade Pit Bull ban. This is one of the few times I support the Florida legislature overriding local government. The bill was sponsored by members of the Miami-Dade delegation.
